江戸時代に小国と軍鶏の交配から作られたとされる品種。腰の部分の蓑羽が長く、地面を引きずることから、この名が付けられました。同様に尾羽も長く、2、3年に一度しか生え替わりません。

They were induced by crossing Shokoku and Shamo during the Edo period. The name derives from its long feathers on their lower zqalso long and only molt every 2 -3 years.
